1. Who we are
Legal entity: Shark Lane - Interview Prep (the “Platform”).
Support email: support@sharklaneprep.com.
2. What we provide
The Platform offers content, practice tests, grading/feedback, and tools to prepare for recruiting processes in financial markets. Access may be free or via one-time purchases of fixed-duration plans or prepaid credits. No auto-renewal.
3. Account
You must be 18+ and provide accurate information. You are responsible for your credentials and for activities on your account.
4. Payments & invoices
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown before checkout, including taxes/fees where applicable. After purchase we send a confirmation and, where required by law, provide receipts or tax invoices compliant with your jurisdiction.
5. Plans and credits (no recurring billing)
Fixed-duration plans grant access for a defined period (e.g., 30 days) and expire automatically.
Credits can be spent on essay corrections and interview simulations.
There is no automatic renewal or subsequent charge after expiration.
6. Acceptable use
You may not: (i) reverse engineer; (ii) scrape or automate without permission; (iii) share accounts; (iv) infringe third-party rights; (v) bypass usage/credit limits; (vi) attempt to jailbreak, prompt-inject, poison, or otherwise manipulate our models, safety systems, or grading pipelines; (vii) submit or deploy content/code designed to exfiltrate data, escalate privileges, or degrade service; (viii) use outputs to generate or disseminate unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content (including harassment, discrimination, or misleading claims presented as facts); (ix) circumvent rate limits, safety filters, or access controls; (x) upload others’ personal/sensitive data without a lawful basis.
We may throttle, filter, or withhold outputs; remove content; and suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these rules or applicable law are breached or safety risks exist.
7. Your content (essays/answers)
You retain ownership of your submitted answers and materials (“User Content”). You grant the Platform a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, host, process, reproduce, transform, and analyze the User Content to operate features (grading/feedback) and to improve our evaluation models (details in the Privacy Policy). You may request deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
Our AI-assisted features are designed to deliver accurate, relevant feedback and are continually improved. As with any automated system, outputs can occasionally be incomplete or imprecise and should be reviewed with your own judgment before reliance. Use outputs as guidance, not as professional advice, and remain responsible for how you apply them.
8. Platform IP
All Platform software, content, and marks belong to us or our licensors. Your license is limited to what these Terms allow.
9. Disclaimers & liability
AI-assisted features. We aim to provide high-quality, helpful, and up-to-date feedback. Despite ongoing improvements and safeguards, automated systems may occasionally produce incomplete, imprecise, or out-of-scope outputs. Treat outputs as guidance and apply independent judgment to verify suitability for your use case. Outputs (including grades) are not professional advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and outputs are provided “as is” and we disclaim warranties that they will meet every requirement or be error-free at all times. Our total liability for any claims related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Refunds & withdrawal
Customers may request refunds by email at support@sharklaneprep.com. Where local law requires exercising a statutory withdrawal/cooling-off right via the same online tool used for purchase, an in-product option appears at Account → Billing → “Request refund/withdrawal” (via Stripe). See the Refund & Withdrawal Policy for details, timelines, and eligibility.
11. Privacy / data-protection contact
Data subjects can reach us at support@sharklaneprep.com. Our Privacy Policy explains processing purposes, legal bases, and your rights.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms to reflect product/legal changes; for material changes we will notify you reasonably in advance.
13. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe there is a breach of these Terms, risk to users, security issues, non-payment, or legal/safety requirements. Upon termination, your license ends and access to the Platform and credits/features is revoked, except where required by applicable law. Sections intended to survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, liability limits) remain in effect.
14. Service changes & availability
We may modify, limit, or discontinue features, models, or limits to maintain safety, quality, and compliance. We aim to provide reasonable notice for material changes when feasible.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Venue and dispute resolution will follow applicable law; where required, local consumer law protections prevail. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory rights in your jurisdiction.
16. Notices
We may provide notices via email, in-product messages, or updates posted on the Platform. You are responsible for keeping your contact details current.
17. Miscellaneous
If any provision is held invalid, the remainder remains in effect (severability). These Terms constitute the entire agreement regarding the Service and supersede prior understandings on the same subject. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
